Your Role in Our Mission

As a QA Engineer, you’ll ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of our products through a balanced mix of manual and automation testing. You’ll review requirements, design and execute test plans, develop automated test scripts, and identify defects through both functional and API testing. You’ll manage defects using ClickUp, collaborate with developers for timely resolutions, and communicate detailed test reports to stakeholders. With a strong grasp of SDLC/STLC, SQL, API testing, and test automation, you’ll play a key role in maintaining high product standards and delivering seamless user experiences.

How You’ll Make an Impact

Requirement Analysis

• Review and analyze feature requirements to prevent issues early.

• Identify risks and clarify ambiguities to ensure requirements are clear, complete, and testable.

Test Planning and Design

• Develop comprehensive test strategies, plans, and cases ensuring full coverage across manual and automated tests.

• Create and maintain test data and reusable automation scripts for consistent validation.

Test Execution

• Perform manual and automated test execution to identify functional, integration, and regression issues.

• Conduct API testing using Postman or similar tools to verify backend reliability and data integrity.

Defect Tracking and Management

• Log, prioritize, and manage defects using ClickUp or similar tools.

• Collaborate closely with developers to ensure quick and effective resolution.

Test Reporting

• Prepare and present detailed test summaries and quality metrics.

• Provide insights and data-driven recommendations that improve release confidence and product quality.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.

• 1–3 years of experience in manual and automation testing.

• Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and the defect lifecycle.

• Hands-on experience with ClickUp or equivalent test management tools.

• Practical experience in API testing (Postman) and SQL for backend validation.

• Working knowledge of automation scripting using tools like Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar frameworks.

• Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills.

• ISTQB or similar certification is a plus.

Your X-Factor

• A quality-first mindset, ensuring every feature is robust, functional, and user-friendly.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to uncover hidden issues and assess their business impact.

• Effective collaboration and communication with developers, PMs, and stakeholders to drive faster resolutions.

• Proficiency in test automation, API testing, and SQL, enabling efficient, repeatable, and high-confidence testing.

Your Pay & Perks

• Salary Range: BDT 35,000 - BDT 55,000
