Position: Software Engineer II (Frontend)

Job Nature: Full Time

Office Hours: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (Flexible)

Office Modality: WFO 3 days, WFH 2 days (Tuesday & Wednesday)

Weekend: Saturday, Sunday

Compensation & Benefits:

• Salary: BDT 55,000 - BDT 75,000

• Bi-Annual Salary Increment (Eligibility Condition Applies)

• 2 Times Yearly Festival Bonus (Eligibility Condition Applies)

Job Overview:
 

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Software Engineer II (Frontend) to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for development of our frontend applications, primarily using Next.js and React.js. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in frontend development and a solid understanding of modern web technologies, as well as experience with performance optimization and testing.

Job Responsibilities:
 

• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code using modern JavaScript syntax and best practices

• Mentor junior team members and provide guidance on best practices and coding standards

• Contribute to the overall architecture and design of the system

• Optimize code for performance and scalability using techniques such as code splitting, server-side rendering, and lazy loading

• Write unit and integration tests using tools such as Jest and Enzyme to ensure the quality of the code

• Debug and fix issues in production environments using tools such as the browser developer console and error tracking platforms

• Contribute to documentation and technical documentation.

Qualifications:
 

• Strong experience in frontend development using Next.js and React.js

• Proficiency in modern JavaScript syntax and best practices

• Experience with HTML, CSS, and frontend performance optimization techniques

• Experience with testing frameworks such as Jest and Enzyme

• Strong understanding of web performance optimization techniques such as code splitting, server-side rendering, and lazy loading

• Experience with version control systems (e.g. Git)

• Familiarity with CI/CD & code pipelines

• Experience leading and mentoring a team is a plus

• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment

Experience:
 

• 3+ years of work experience in relevant framework.
