Job description
Who We Are
NEXT Ventures is where ambition takes shape and momentum becomes movement. As a global platform revolutionising access to performance-based capital, we empower the world’s most driven individuals to rise. Through our flagship brand, FundedNext, we empower dreamers to become doers, and potential to turn into performance. With 500+ driven minds across five countries, we power a global rhythm — 220,000+ daily users from 170+ nations, each chasing greatness in their own way.
Your Role in Our Mission
As Product Strategy Lead, you are the connective tissue between vision and execution across FundedNext’s three product pillars: CFDs, Futures, and Core Platform. You will directly manage Group Leads and Core Platform squad PMs, ensuring their roadmaps cohere into a single, purposeful direction — and that the people building these products are growing as fast as the platform they ship. This is a senior leadership role for someone who leads through coaching, resolves conflict with clarity, and holds both strategic coherence and team health as non-negotiable.
How You'll Make an Impact
Strategy & Roadmap Coherence
Translate the Head of Product’s vision into actionable product strategies for each pillar (CFDs, Futures, Core Platform) — ensuring every squad’s roadmap ladders up to company-level objectives
Own overall product roadmap coherence across the three branches — identify when CFDs, Futures, and Core Platform are pulling in different directions and resolve conflicts before they compound
Review and challenge squad OKRs to ensure they connect to company-level outcomes — push back when OKRs are too safe, misaligned, or unmeasurable
Monitor product outcomes (conversion, retention, revenue, trader satisfaction) across all squads and surface systemic issues to the Head of Product
People Leadership & Team Development
Directly manage the Group Lead for CFDs, Group Lead for Futures, and the four Core Platform squad PMs (Trader Success, Partnerships, Payments, Identity)
Coach Group Leads on team topology decisions, cross-squad dependencies, and strategic prioritisation — empower through coaching, not control
Define the hiring bar for all squad PMs — participate in interview loops, own the PM onboarding experience, and ensure new hires ramp to effectiveness quickly
Build and scale a product organisation from small to mid-size, maintaining craft and culture through periods of rapid growth
Cross-Pillar Coordination & Delivery
Serve as the escalation point for cross-pillar conflicts — when a Core Platform change impacts both CFD and Futures squads, this role makes the call or escalates to the Head of Product with a clear recommendation
Establish product delivery rituals — quarterly planning, sprint reviews, cross-squad demos, and knowledge-sharing forums that create a cohesive product organisation
Partner with the Lead of Product Operations to ensure delivery and quality are balanced — neither function overrides the other
What You Bring
8+ years of product management experience, with at least 3 years in a people management role leading multiple PMs or product teams
Proven experience building and scaling product organisations — ideally through a team expansion from small to mid-size (10–30+ product people)
Strong track record of coaching and mentoring PMs at various seniority levels, from mid-level to senior and lead PMs
Experience with squad-based or cross-functional team models (SVPG-inspired, Spotify model, or similar empowered team structures)
Ability to own roadmap coherence across multiple product lines — aligning different teams’ priorities with company strategy without micromanaging execution
Experience with OKR frameworks at both company and team level — setting, challenging, and reviewing objectives with rigour
Excellent conflict resolution and escalation management skills — comfortable making calls in ambiguous, high-stakes situations
Deep understanding of product strategy, discovery, and delivery practices — a strong product thinker first, people manager second
Experience in fintech, trading, or financial services products preferred but not required — domain expertise is secondary to product leadership capability
Comfort operating in a high-growth, rapidly scaling environment where processes are being established for the first time
Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred
Your Journey After Applying
30-minute HR Session with the Talent Acquisition team
60-minute Session with the Direct Supervisor
60-minute Session with Chief Strategy Officer
