Job description
Who We Are
NEXT Ventures is where ambition takes shape and momentum becomes movement. As a global platform revolutionising access to performance-based capital, we empower the world's most driven individuals to rise. Through our flagship brand, FundedNext, we empower dreamers to become doers, and potential to turn into performance. With 500+ driven minds across five countries, we power a global rhythm — 220,000+ daily users from 170+ nations, each chasing greatness in their own way.
Your Role in Our Mission
As Product Analytics Lead, you will build and lead the analytics function from zero — defining our analytics strategy, establishing the operating model, and hiring the team that gives every squad at FundedNext a shared language of data. You will sit at the intersection of product, data, and leadership: owning the infrastructure that surfaces what is happening across our platforms, coaching both analysts and PMs to act on it, and synthesising cross-squad signals that no single team could see on its own. This is a builder role for someone who thrives on turning ambiguity into rigour.
How You'll Make an Impact
Building the Function
Build the Product Analytics function from zero — define the analytics strategy, hire Product Analysts, and establish the hub-and-spoke operating model that serves all squads
Manage three coverage analysts: Growth Coverage (CFD Growth, Futures Growth, Partnerships), Platform & Core Coverage (CFD Rules, Futures Rules, Payments, Identity), and Engagement & Retention Coverage (Trader Success, retention metrics across Growth squads)
Set dashboard standards, data model governance, and metric taxonomies that all squads use consistently — ensuring “conversion rate” means the same thing across CFD Growth and Futures Growth
Analytics Infrastructure
Build the foundational analytics infrastructure — funnel dashboards for Growth squads, rule impact simulation models for Rules squads, cohort retention curves for Trader Success, payment success rate monitoring for Payments, and affiliate performance tracking for Partnerships
Own A/B test design standards and statistical rigour — ensure experiments across all squads are properly designed, sufficiently powered, and correctly interpreted
Partner with the Lead, Product Operations on data quality, AI-powered analytics tooling, and the overall product operations technology stack
Insight Generation & Enablement
Synthesise cross-squad insights that no single squad would see — identify patterns where a change in one squad impacts outcomes in another (e.g. a rule change affecting both retention and conversion)
Operate as an enablement function, not a service desk — teach PMs to interpret data themselves and coach analysts on proactive insight generation rather than reactive report filling
Define and enforce the analytics-PM boundary: analytics answers “what is happening?” (dashboards, metrics, anomaly detection, simulations) and PMs answer “what do we build about it?” (discovery, prototyping, shipping)
Leadership & Strategic Partnership
Present cross-squad analytics insights to the Head of Product and leadership team — surface systemic trends, flag emerging risks, and provide the data foundation for strategic resource allocation decisions
Coach analysts on proactive insight generation, raising the analytical bar across the entire product organisation
What You Bring
6+ years of analytics experience, with at least 2 years leading an analytics team or function
Strong technical skills — proficiency in SQL, Python (pandas/numpy), and analytics/BI tools (Looker, Metabase, Tableau, or similar)
Experience building analytics infrastructure from scratch — defining data models, dashboard standards, metric taxonomies, and governance frameworks
Proven ability to hire, coach, and develop analysts — this person will grow the team from zero to four
Experience with product analytics specifically (not just marketing or business analytics) — funnel analysis, feature adoption, cohort retention, A/B test design and interpretation
Understanding of financial metrics — GP margin, LTV, pass/fail ratios, revenue per user — and how they connect to product decisions
Experience operating as an enablement function rather than a service desk — teaching PMs to self-serve on data
Ability to synthesise cross-squad or cross-product insights — identifying patterns that span multiple teams
Experience in fintech, trading platforms, or high-frequency transactional products is a strong advantage
Strong communication skills — ability to present data insights to non-technical stakeholders and translate business questions into analytical frameworks
Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or equivalent); Master’s degree preferred
Your Journey After Applying
30-minute HR Session with the Talent Acquisition team
60-minute Session with the Direct Supervisor
60-minute Session with Chief Strategy Officer
