Your Role in Our Mission

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented SQA Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of our software products through the use of manual and automated testing techniques.

How You’ll Make an Impact

Test Strategy & Planning

• Design comprehensive test plans and test cases to ensure coverage of functionality, usability, and performance aspects.

• Define and document testing standards, workflows, and best practices across the QA lifecycle.

Requirements Analysis & Documentation

• Analyze software requirements by creating flowcharts, layouts, and traceability matrices to map features to test cases.

• Collaborate with product and development teams to clarify requirements and align test strategies accordingly.

Database & Data Validation

• Construct and execute advanced SQL queries to validate data integrity and troubleshoot backend issues.

• Ensure accurate test data setup and consistent results across different test environments.

Defect Tracking & Quality Reporting

• Monitor tools like Sentry and Crashlytics to proactively detect and report software defects.

• Track issues using platforms such as ClickUp or JIRA and maintain detailed documentation on product improvements and resolutions.

Manual & Automated Testing

• Conduct manual testing including smoke, integration, and system testing to validate core functionality.

• Design and execute automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, WebdriverIO, Katalon Studio, or Cypress to improve test efficiency and repeatability.

Leadership & Continuous Improvement

• Lead and mentor QA engineers and analysts, fostering a culture of quality, ownership, and continuous improvement.

• Advocate for test automation, early defect detection, and shift-left practices within the development lifecycle.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• At least 4 years of experience in software quality assurance or a related field.

• Strong experience with both manual and automated testing tools and techniques (e.g., Selenium, WebdriverIO).

• Proficiency in SQL and experience with bug tracking systems (e.g., Clickup, JIRA).

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Strong communication and leadership abilities.

• Hands-on experience with mobile testing frameworks (e.g., Appium, Espresso, XCUITest)

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests into workflows (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins)

• Experience in performance and load testing using tools like JMeter or Locust

• Exposure to security testing principles and tools

• Ability to champion shift-left testing practices and embed quality early in the development lifecycle

Your X-Factor

• Demonstrated success in creating test strategies for complex, fast-evolving products

• Passion for mentoring junior QA engineers and improving overall QA processes through documentation, training, or tooling

• Clear communicator who bridges gaps between engineering, product, and design to uphold quality at every stage

Your Pay & Perks

• Monthly salary range: 100,000 - 150,000 BDT

• Bi-annual salary review  (Eligibility Condition Applies).
