Job Overview:

The Lead - HR Business Partner (HRBP) plays a crucial role in bridging business needs with HR strategies, ensuring alignment between people initiatives and organizational objectives. This role partners with business leaders to drive workforce planning, enhance employee engagement, and co-design and co-execute key HR functions, including Performance Management, Organizational Development (OD), Talent Acquisition, and People Operations. The HRBP ensures that people strategies drive business success, improve workforce efficiency, and cultivate a high-performance, engaged, and future-ready workforce. 

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic HR Business Partnering & Workforce Planning

  • Act as a strategic HR advisor to business leaders, ensuring HR strategies align with business goals.

  • Co-design and co-execute workforce planning with department heads, aligning hiring and succession needs with business objectives.

  • Guide leaders on organizational structure, workforce optimization, and role alignment to enhance productivity.

  • Partner with leadership to develop initiatives that improve employee experience, retention, and workforce readiness.

  1. Talent Acquisition Alignment & Hiring Support

  • Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition (TA) team, ensuring hiring priorities align with business needs and workforce planning.

  • Support hiring managers by refining job descriptions, competency mapping, and selection processes.

  • Monitor recruitment progress, provide insights to business leaders, and facilitate cross-team collaboration between HR and hiring departments.

  • Advocate for employer branding initiatives, ensuring the organization is positioned as a top employer.

  1. Performance Management & Organizational Development (OD)

  • Co-design and co-execute the Performance Management framework, ensuring structured feedback, goal setting, and career development programs.

  • Partner with the OD team to implement talent assessments, leadership development, and capability-building programs.

  • Support the execution of succession planning, ensuring at least 80% of critical roles have identified successors.

  • Facilitate learning & development (L&D) programs, working with OD teams to ensure employees are equipped for career growth.

  1. People Operations & Compliance Coordination

  • Ensure smooth execution of people operations, including payroll, benefits, and employee documentation, in collaboration with People Operations teams.

  • Work closely with People Operations to fully adhere to Bangladesh labor laws and internal policies.

  • Guide business leaders on employee relations, grievance handling, and workplace policies.

  • Conduct audits with People Operations to maintain compliance and accuracy in HR processes.

  1. Employee Engagement & Culture Building

  • Co-design and co-execute initiatives to enhance employee engagement, experience, and retention.

  • Conduct pulse surveys, analyze employee feedback, and collaborate with leadership to drive meaningful change.

  • Advocate for diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives, ensuring fair and inclusive workplace practices.

  • Organize leadership coaching, wellness programs, and employee development initiatives to sustain a high-performance culture.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.

  • Experience: Minimum 7+ years in HR Business Partnering, Talent Strategy, or Workforce Planning roles.

  • Industry Exposure: Experience supporting Technology, Marketing, Customer Experience, and Financial Services (Fintech) teams is a plus.

  • Regional Expertise: Experience implementing HR strategies in fast-paced, multinational environments.

  • Technical Proficiency: Strong experience with HR analytics, HRIS platforms, and performance management systems.

  • Manpower Planning & Talent Alignment: Expertise in workforce planning and collaboration with Talent Acquisition.

Compensation Package:

  • Salary: Negotiable

  • Bi-Annual Salary Increment (Eligibility Condition Applies).
