Your Role in Our Mission

As the Lead - Global HRBP, you will serve as a trusted advisor and strategic enabler to NEXT Ventures’ global business leadership. You’ll drive the alignment of people strategy with organizational performance across trading, technology, and operations — ensuring that business goals, team structures, and individual growth all move in harmony.

This role isn’t just about partnership — it’s about influence. You’ll help shape the firm’s culture, guide leaders through change, and architect scalable people strategies that support rapid growth in a high-performance, data-driven environment.

How You’ll Make an Impact

Strategic HR Partnership

  • Act as a strategic advisor to global trading, technology, marketing, and operations leadership teams.

  • Translate business strategy into people initiatives that enable scalability, innovation, and competitive edge.

  • Influence organizational design, ensuring optimal structures and workforce planning aligned with growth objectives.

  • Represent HR at the business table — balancing people insight with commercial outcomes.

OKR & Performance Alignment

  • Lead the global HRBP OKR framework, ensuring business units’ objectives align with corporate and People team OKRs.

  • Partner with the Total Rewards & Performance CoE to integrate trading, collaboration, and skill-based metrics into performance reviews.

  • Use insights from HR Analytics to drive continuous improvement through data-backed performance tracking.

  • Champion a culture of accountability and performance excellence through structured feedback and quarterly reviews.

Collaboration with HR Centers of Excellence (CoEs)

  • Work closely with Total Rewards & Performance to embed meritocratic pay structures and recognition frameworks.

  • Partner with Talent Acquisition & Employer Branding to define workforce needs, hiring strategies, and market insights for niche quantitative and tech talent.

  • Collaborate with HR Analytics to turn data into predictive, actionable people insights.

  • Partner with Learning & Development to strengthen leadership and technical capability across global teams.

  • Align with People Operations & Mobility to ensure seamless, compliant employee experiences across markets.

Organizational Effectiveness & Change Leadership

  • Support leaders through transformation — from desk expansions to new market entries.

  • Advise on leadership transitions, team effectiveness, and culture integration.

  • Lead succession planning and readiness initiatives for critical trading and technology roles.

  • Drive organizational diagnostics that anticipate challenges and enable sustainable performance.

Global People Leadership

  • Lead and mentor a small, high-performing HRBP team across SEA, South Asia, and EMEA.

  • Establish a consistent global HRBP operating rhythm while respecting local market nuance.

  • Promote a culture of meritocracy, agility, and evidence-based decision-making.

  • Serve as the connector between global strategy and regional execution, ensuring HRBP excellence across all markets.

What You Bring

  • 12+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in senior HRBP or leadership roles.

  • Background in proprietary trading, fintech, hedge funds, or high-growth technology environments.

  • Proven success partnering with executives to scale organizations, manage transformation, and drive performance.

  • Strong understanding of compensation, performance management, and organizational analytics.

  • Demonstrated expertise in designing and leading OKR and performance alignment frameworks.

  • Experience working cross-functionally with CoEs (Rewards, TA, L&D, Analytics, etc.).

  • Exceptional stakeholder management, executive communication, and change leadership skills.

  • Global exposure and ability to operate across diverse regions and cultural contexts.

Your X-Factor

  • Thinks like a business leader, acts like a strategic partner, and executes with precision.

  • Influences through insight, credibility, and deep understanding of people and performance dynamics.

  • Thrives on complexity, turning ambiguity into structure and direction.

  • Champions a high-performance culture where people strategy drives trading and technology excellence.

Your Journey After Applying

  • 30-minute HR Session with the Talent Acquisition team

  • 60-minute Strategic Interview with the Chief People Officer

  • Case Study Presentation: Global HRBP & OKR Alignment Simulation

  • Final Executive Discussion with the CEO and COO
