Your Role in Our Mission

As an Executive / Senior Executive – Payment Analyst within the Payments & Treasury function, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, accuracy, and efficiency of our payment operations. Based in Sri Lanka, you will support high-volume, multi-channel payment flows across pay-ins and payouts ensuring timely reconciliation, issue resolution, fraud monitoring, and performance optimization.

Your work will directly impact customer trust, payout commitments, cost efficiency, and compliance across global payment networks. Through strong analytical thinking, operational discipline, and cross-functional collaboration, you will help keep our revenue operations stable, scalable, and future-ready.

How You’ll Make an Impact

Payment Monitoring & Analysis

  • Analyze payment transaction data to identify trends, anomalies, performance gaps, and actionable insights.

  • Monitor payment systems in real time to detect, investigate, and resolve issues across RTP, ACH, cards, and digital wallets.

  • Track key payment metrics such as success rates, failure reasons, volumes, and costs to support operational decisions.

Reconciliation & Settlement Operations

  • Perform daily and periodic payment reconciliations to ensure accurate ledgering and fund settlement.

  • Identify discrepancies, investigate exceptions, and ensure alignment with internal controls and regulatory standards.

  • Support accurate financial reporting by maintaining clean and auditable payment records.

Exception Handling & Risk Support

  • Investigate complex payment exceptions and high-value issues in coordination with internal teams, banks, and vendors.

  • Support fraud prevention and risk mitigation efforts by analyzing transaction patterns and monitoring emerging threats.

  • Contribute to strengthening controls and safeguards within digital payment workflows.

Process Optimization & Automation Support

  • Identify inefficiencies in payment processes and recommend improvements to enhance speed, accuracy, and scalability.

  • Collaborate with automation, data, and IT teams to support reporting automation and workflow enhancements.

  • Apply basic scripting, logic-building, or BI techniques to improve operational efficiency where applicable.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Knowledge Sharing

  • Work closely with Finance, Operations, IT, Compliance, and Customer Support teams to support system updates and integrations.

  • Participate in training and knowledge-sharing sessions to promote best practices, compliance awareness, and operational excellence.

  • Stay informed on industry trends such as real-time payments, stablecoins, AI-driven monitoring, and interoperability to propose improvements.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Banking, Finance, Accounting, Economics, CSE, Statistics, or a related field.

  • For Senior Executive: Minimum 3 years of experience in financial reporting, analysis, or data analysis with a focus on digital payments.

  • For Executive: Fresh graduates with strong skills in BI tools, analytics, or data-driven problem-solving are encouraged to apply.

  • Sound understanding of digital payment ecosystems, including payment value chains, wallets, and digital banking solutions.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

  • Proficiency in Google Sheets / Excel and familiarity with data analytics tools.

  • Working knowledge of SQL, BI tools (Tableau, Power BI), or automation concepts is a strong advantage.

  • Ability to perform under pressure in high-volume, fast-paced environments.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
