Job Overview:
The Executive, People & Culture, will play a critical role in maintaining and enhancing recruitment operations and HR operations at NEXT Ventures. This individual will support the People & Culture team in ensuring efficient HR processes, compliance with regulations, and effective talent acquisition strategies. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, and dedicated to fostering a positive workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment Operations:
Collaborate with department heads to identify staffing needs and develop comprehensive job descriptions.
Support the full recruitment process, including job posting, sourcing candidates, scheduling interviews, and conducting initial screenings.
Coordinate with hiring managers to ensure a smooth interview process and timely feedback.
Maintain recruitment databases and track key metrics such as time-to-hire and candidate satisfaction.
Assist in developing and implementing effective onboarding programs to ensure a seamless transition for new employees.
HR Operations:
Assist in managing HR processes, including onboarding, offboarding, payroll, and benefits administration.
Ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies, and industry regulations.
Maintain and update employee records and HR databases, ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality.
Support the performance management process by assisting in scheduling performance reviews, collecting feedback, and tracking progress.
Help organize and coordinate employee training and development programs to support career growth and skill enhancement.
Administrative Support:
Prepare and maintain HR documentation, including contracts, policies, and employee handbooks.
Assist in organizing HR events, meetings, and training sessions.
Provide administrative support to the People & Culture team as needed.
Job requirements
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
1-2 years of experience in HR roles, preferably in recruitment or HR operations.
Strong knowledge of HR best practices and labor laws.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
