Your Role in Our Mission

As an Executive – Payments Research Analyst within our Payments R&D wing, you will be the engine behind our financial agility. You will bridge the gap between market intelligence and operational execution, researching global payment trends and treasury optimization strategies. Your work ensures that our platform remains at the cutting edge of fintech, maintaining competitive advantage through rigorous data modeling, risk mitigation, and strategic partnership management.

How You’ll Make an Impact

Research & Treasury Optimization

• Conduct deep-dive research into payment industry trends, including digital wallets, blockchain, and real-time payments.

• Independently identify and analyze short-term global investment opportunities to optimize treasury performance.

• Perform competitor benchmarking on payment methods, and strategic positioning to ensure we maintain a market-leading edge.

Data Modeling & Strategic Analysis

• Analyze large datasets to model payment volumes, treasury forecasts, and operational efficiencies.

• Evaluate emerging payment and treasury technologies, recommending adoptions that align with scalable growth.

• Prepare high-impact research reports and presentations for leadership on market insights and payment performance.

Operational Integrity & Risk Management

• Investigate and resolve high-value payment exceptions, fraud cases, and treasury discrepancies with precision.

• Develop and implement strategies for risk mitigation and payment process automation.

• Ensure full alignment with regulatory compliance, tax regulations, and global reporting requirements.

Relationship Management & Collaboration

• Act as the primary relationship manager for banks, PSPs, and payment processors to negotiate terms and ensure service continuity.

• Collaborate across teams on multiple complex projects, supporting leads on KYC processes and technical integrations.

What You Bring

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Banking, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Analytics (Post-graduation is an advantage).

• Experience: 1–2 years of proven experience in financial/payments research; freelance research experience in this niche is highly valued.

• Technical Savvy: Advanced proficiency in Google Sheets/Excel and data analytics techniques.

• Domain Knowledge: Sound understanding of the payment value chain (ACH, SWIFT, RTP, Cards, Crypto) and global investment markets.

• Communication: Exceptional verbal and written English skills for stakeholder interaction and reporting.

• Agility: Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, global environment with a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
