Your Role in Our Mission

As Executive – Finance & Audit, you will play a key role in maintaining financial accuracy, compliance, and timeliness for our Sri Lanka operations. Your day-to-day work will uphold core accounting principles, facilitate audit readiness, and ensure seamless financial operations that power smarter decision-making across the business.

How You’ll Make an Impact

Daily Financial Recordkeeping & Reconciliation

  • Record every cash and bank transaction within the same business day and maintain a live daily cash-position sheet.

  • Reconcile the bank book daily and minimize unreconciled items to less than 1% of monthly volume.

  • Maintain a weekly unreconciled items tracker and ensure sign-off from Head of Finance or Country Director on a monthly basis.

Month-End Close & Ledger Accuracy

  • Ensure timely monthly book closure by Working Day 3 (WD3) across General Ledger, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable.

  • Limit post-audit adjustments to under 0.5% of monthly revenue through accuracy in entries and review.

  • Use a WD3 close checklist and variance reports to monitor financial health, supported by quarterly internal audit samples.

Accounts Payable & Receivable Management

  • Process vendor payments and customer collections within two business days of due date.

  • Maintain ageing reports ensuring overdue AP/AR items over 30 days stay below 5%.

  • Track performance through a weekly dashboard and monthly SLA reports.

Tax Compliance & Statutory Filings

  • Prepare and file VAT/GST, withholding tax, and income tax returns within statutory deadlines, avoiding late filings or penalties.

  • Reconcile internal tax calculations with official assessments, maintaining accuracy within ±1%.

  • Maintain filing archives and use automated compliance calendars with alerts for deadlines.

Audit Support & Stakeholder Service

  • Respond to audit document requests and stakeholder queries within 24 hours.

  • Ensure 100% of Provided-By-Client (PBC) audit items are delivered within SLA.

  • Track service responsiveness through an SLA log and quarterly stakeholder satisfaction survey.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

  • 1–2 years of professional experience in a finance or audit function is preferred, though dedicated fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

  • Familiarity with standard financial close processes, compliance frameworks, and audit practices.

  • Proficiency in spreadsheet tools such as Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel (e.g., formulas, pivot tables, reconciliation templates).

  • Strong documentation and reporting discipline; ability to maintain clean, audit-ready records.

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to respond professionally and promptly to internal and external queries.

  • Meticulous attention to detail and organizational discipline.

  • A team-first attitude with integrity and commitment to continuous improvement.

Your X-Factor

  • You bring speed and consistency to core finance routines while upholding precision.

  • You’re calm under deadlines and can manage multiple priorities without losing control.

  • You anticipate needs, proactively investigate discrepancies, and act quickly on findings.
