Your Role in Our Mission

We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Data Engineer to architect and elevate our data infrastructure as we transition from on-premise systems to a cutting-edge AWS-based streaming environment. You will play a pivotal role in designing scalable pipelines, modernizing data platforms, and implementing governance frameworks that deliver reliable, actionable insights. How You’ll Make an Impact

Architect Cloud-Based Solutions

• Lead the transition from on-premise batch systems to a scalable AWS-based streaming architecture.

• Design and implement data warehouses, orchestration frameworks, and end-to-end ETL/ELT pipelines.

• Ensure all data solutions are scalable, secure, cost-optimized, and high-performing.

Lead Technical Excellence

• Foster a culture of innovation and engineering excellence within the data ecosystem.

• Define architectural plans, coding standards, and engineering best practices.

• Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies to strengthen data capabilities.

Develop & Automate Systems

• Design and automate distributed systems for real-time and batch data processing.

• Build scalable SQL/NoSQL data models, schemas, and reusable automation frameworks.

• Develop CI/CD workflows to ensure reliable deployment and continuous improvement.

Drive Collaboration & Insights

• Partner with Product, Engineering, and Business teams to align data strategies.

• Deliver actionable metrics, dashboards, and analytical insights using Metabase, Tableau, or Power BI.

• Support cross-functional teams in maximizing the value of data assets.

Ensure Operational Reliability

• Monitor and troubleshoot pipelines with a strong focus on uptime and SLA commitments.

• Maintain high data quality, lineage, validation, and governance standards.

• Conduct RCA (Root Cause Analysis) and implement long-term solutions.

Daily ETL Operations & Excellence

• Perform ETL/ELT health checks and ensure consistent pipeline reliability.

• Implement automated monitoring and alerting (CloudWatch, Grafana, Datadog).

• Continuously optimize pipelines for performance and cost efficiency.

• Maintain SOPs, runbooks, and workflows for operational consistency.

What You Bring

• 2–5 years in Data Engineering or a relevant field.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

• Strong proficiency in SQL and scripting languages (Python, R, Bash Shell).

• Hands-on experience with Hadoop, Spark, and workflow management tools like Airflow.

• Experience working with SQL and NoSQL databases (Redshift, Postgres, MySQL).

• Strong understanding of ETL processes and the ability to organize and analyze raw data.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
