Your Role in Our Mission

The Cybersecurity Analyst plays a critical role in protecting the organization’s digital infrastructure from evolving cyber threats. This position involves proactive monitoring, threat detection, vulnerability assessments, and incident response coordination. The analyst will work closely with cross-functional teams to implement and enhance security measures, ensuring system resilience and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise and analytical acumen with a proactive mindset, contributing to a culture of continuous cyber vigilance and risk mitigation.

How You’ll Make an Impact

Threat Detection & Response

• Detect, investigate, and respond to cybersecurity incidents across the organization.

• Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and implement strategies to mitigate future threats.

• Improve Mean Time to Detect (MTTD) and Mean Time to Respond (MTTR) through proactive measures and streamlined processes.

Vulnerability Management & Risk Mitigation

• Perform regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify security gaps.

• Recommend and implement measures to strengthen defenses and close identified vulnerabilities.

• Leverage automation tools (e.g., Python, PowerShell) to enhance threat mitigation and incident response efforts.

Monitoring & Analysis

• Monitor and analyze security events using SIEM and XDR tools to detect anomalies and prevent data breaches.

• Conduct forensic analysis on compromised systems and generate reports to inform future prevention strategies.

• Stay vigilant against potential exposures, data leaks, and cyberattack patterns.

Collaboration & Incident Management

• Collaborate with IT and compliance teams to respond to security incidents and align remediation with policy standards.

• Handle and resolve security cases effectively while ensuring minimal operational disruption.

• Generate regular reports for stakeholders detailing incident trends, RCA outcomes, and remediation efforts.

Threat Intelligence & Awareness

• Conduct proactive threat hunting to identify risks before exploitation occurs.

• Provide relevant threat intelligence insights and remain current with the evolving cyber threat landscape.

• Build and support organization-wide awareness campaigns to educate employees on emerging cyber risks.

What You Bring

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field.

• At least 3-4 years of experience in cybersecurity analysis.

• Proficiency in vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.

• Familiarity with SIEM, XDR, and other security monitoring tools.

• Experience in digital forensics and incident response.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent technical knowledge of security protocols and standards.

• Team player with good emotional intelligence.

• Proficiency in G-Suite and relevant cybersecurity tools.

• Proactively searches for threats and vulnerabilities beyond automated alerts.

• Responds quickly and effectively to security incidents under pressure.

• Automates repetitive tasks and threat detection using scripting tools like Python or PowerShell.

• Aligns security decisions with business priorities, risk impact, and compliance needs.

• Communicates technical findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
